Permits & Authorizations

All filming in Morocco requires a permit from the Centre Cinématographique Marocain (CCM), and foreign productions must work through an accredited Moroccan production company — Magic Pictures holds this accreditation. Weapons and military equipment require an additional permit from the Royal Armed Forces General Staff, and drones require a special permit from the Ministry of Interior; we handle both. For productions needing replica weapons, SFX, bullet hits, explosions, or military vehicles and helicopters, we manage the full 'military dossier' process — coordinating the production's SFX, armoury, and design teams with the CCM and military committee ahead of submission to the General Staff. Since Morocco has no local armourers, we also arrange the temporary import and customs clearance of replica weapons in time for shooting.
